What is The Coral Gala?
For 35 years, the Ivy Ball has been more than just a dinner—it has been a
celebration of connection, pride, and legacy for alumni of America’s most prestigious universities. Hosted annually in Hong Kong, the Ivy Ball is a
black-tie gala that brings together Ivy League Plus* alumni and friends for an evening of fine dining, entertainment, and meaningful connection.
This year’s theme, “Coral,” marks the 35th anniversary—aptly chosen as the
anniversary stone for its symbolism of longevity, success, and relationships and friendships that are shaped slowly and beautifully over time.

Who Can Attend?
All Ivy League alumni are welcome to register for the event. Admission is subject to acceptance and by invitation or approval only. Guests of Ivy League alumni are welcome, by invitation only.

How do I RSVP?
You may RSVP through the official registration link here. All registrations are subject to review and confirmation.
You may also register through your respective alumni club.

What is the dress code?
Strictly Black Tie. Guests are encouraged to dress elegantly in line with the evening’s theme. View recommended attire.

What does the ticket price of HK$1,800 include?
It includes a 9-course Chinese meal, a selection of drinks during the cocktail session, and the dinner

What meal options are available?
We offer standard set (includes chicken and pork) and vegetarian set. Please contact your club representative for dietary needs.

How are seats assigned?
When you register through one of the Ivy League Plus* alumni clubs, you will be seated with the alumni from that respective alumni club. It is suggested that you pay through the alumni club you want to be seated with.

Does the ticket include parking at Regent?
No, Regent offers valet parking based on availability and at an hourly rate.

What time should we arrive?
Cocktail session will start at 6:30pm. Dinner will start promptly at 7:30pm. Please arrive in good time.

Does Regent offer special room rates?
Yes, the hotel offers special package (Classic Room) for ball attendees. Please contact your respective alumni club for package details.

Is there an age restriction?
We welcome alumni and guests to bring their loved ones and recommend that minors be aged 13 or above. As alcohol will be served, minors must be supervised for the entire duration of the event.
Regent will provide standardized meals (regular and vegetarian options) for all attendees, including both adults and children. Therefore, all guests will be charged the same ticket price.
